About GGB: October 1-31

The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System.

The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences

This Year the Kent Public Library is partnering with the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center to provide donations. We will begin accepting donations on October 1st, with the last donations being collected on October 17th. The following items are what we can collect at this time:

New school supplies for the children of the shelter

New toiletries (including Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Brushes, Chapstick, Moisturizer for sensitive skin, feminine products, etc…)

Baby Supplies (including wipes, diapers, pull-ups, etc…)

Please note our collection times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11am-4pm, Wednesday: 4pm-7pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm
