One of the very special projects of the Friends of Kent Public Library is the Cornerstones of Kent Mural. This is a stunning 6’x12’ tile mural highlighting the history of Kent throughout the centuries, permanently installed at the Kent Public Library. Cornerstones of Kent is a celebration of the history, animals, and plants of the Town of Kent. It is made up of exquisite tiles that have been handcrafted and painted by local artist Alicia Gonzalez. Sponsorship of a brick or book in the Cornerstones of Kent Mural allows you to preserve your family, business or organization’s place in the history of the Town of Kent.
